Tula is a pan-African super app that brings the tools people use every day into one trusted place. Instead of switching between separate apps to message a friend, watch and share short videos, join a live conversation, or send money, Tula unites them in a single experience built for how Africa actually communicates and trades.

The platform is organised around four core features. Chat offers end-to-end encrypted messaging for private, group and community conversations. Video — our short-form feed, Tikos — lets creators and businesses reach audiences and sell directly. Live, through Spaces, hosts real-time audio rooms and community events. And Pay — Tula Pay — enables secure, instant payments and commerce embedded throughout the app.

Our mission is to connect people, empower creators and small businesses, and enable commerce across the continent. We are building for mobile-first users, in local contexts, with safety and trust as first principles rather than afterthoughts — from strong encryption to proactive content moderation and child-safety protections.

Tula is developed and operated by Tula Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in Kenya and headquartered at Standard Street, Nairobi CBD, Kenya. We are currently in pre-launch and expanding thoughtfully across African markets.
